Welcome to the GI ACE Conference 2025

The conference will be held over two days. Day 1 will focus on sharing preliminary findings with fellow researchers, external stakeholders, and invited guests, followed by a roundtable on the changing global context for anti-corruption work. Day 2 is reserved for GI ACE researchers and the programme team, with workshops dedicated to turning research into impact and strengthening our collective approach.

Key Dates

  • Sunday 7 September – Arrivals for GI ACE researchers, with hotel check-in and a welcome dinner in Lewes.
  • Day 1 (Monday 8 September)Open conference day with panels, roundtables, and networking.

  • Day 2 (Tuesday 9 September)Closed workshops for GI ACE researchers and programme team, focusing on impact and project development.

Logistics

  • Workshop sessions on 8th September will commence at 9:00 and end at 17:30. 
  • Workshop sessions on 9th September will commence at 9:00 and end at 16:00.                                                                        

 

Venue 

Terrace Room, Bramber House. University of Sussex (see map). 

 

Travel 

The conference will take place at the University of Sussex campus, in Falmer. Falmer station is located 15 minutes by train from Brighton Station. The walk from Falmer Station to Bramber House takes approximately 10 minutes (see map for directions – for Bramber House see grid square B5). 

The dinner venue is located in the nearby town of Lewes, and we will be travelling by train to the venue from the University of Sussex campus. Transport between Lewes Station and Falmer Station will approximately take 10 minutes by train.

Workshop Meals 

  • Monday 8th September: Refreshments (tea/coffee/water) and lunch will be provided at the workshop.

The University of Sussex provides eduroam for staff, students, and academic visitors.
Guests can connect via the O2 network.
